About Sara

Sara is an experienced nurse leader, advocate, storyteller and champion for raising awareness and improving the healthcare system. 

Sara Fung, MN, BScN, RN

Sara has been a registered nurse since 2007. Her expertise is in maternal child health, with clinical experience in obstetrics and the NICU.

She has worked in academic and community hospitals and home health as a bedside nurse, educator, advanced practice nurse and professional practice specialist. She is making a difference through healthcare advocacy and is passionate about issues such as mental health, psychological safety, advocacy, and raising awareness of the value nurses bring!

Bio

SARA FUNG, MN, BScN, RN, received her bachelor of science in nursing from Western University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Toronto. Her expertise is in maternal child health, with clinical experience in obstetrics and the NICU. She has been practising as a registered nurse since 2007 and has worked in both academic and community hospitals and home health as a bedside nurse, an educator, an advanced practice nurse and a professional practice specialist.
